The add-on adds two new usergroup permission:

Create Conversation/DM: Min Post Count - the number of posts needed for users to send a new DM
Reply to Conversation/DM: Min Post Count - the number of posts needed for users to reply to an existing DM
View Conversation/DM: Min Post Count - the number of posts needed for users to view a DM
Conversation/DM Count Quota - total number of active DMs a user can have in their inbox.
Can contact admin or moderator - if enabled, the restrictions above do not apply when contacting a board administrator
If a user does not have enough posts to start a conversation, they see the "no permission" error when they try to start a conversation.If a user does not have enough posts to reply to a conversation, they just do not see the reply field.
